Long time, no write. Quarter 3 just ended and I thought I'd share some Quarter 3 fun times with ya'll.

My little girl turned 3 on April 23rd! I can't believe it, she is such a big girl now! It was so much fun celebrating her birthday this year. Robert and I took her to see How to Train Your Dragon. After about 15 minutes Addi said "OK I am ready to go now!" But we made her stay for the whole thing, it was just so good, Robert and I didn't want to leave. Then we took her to Chuck e cheese for dinner and she had so much fun playing all the games. The next day we went swimming at Clearfield Aquatic Center with some family, it was a blast!!

I LOVE Roberts face in this picture! Isn't her cake just beautiful, it took me forever to make it, but i think it turned out pretty good!

We had to call this the "Princess Slide" so Addi would go down it, after she went once that is all she wanted to do the rest of the day!!!

HAWAII

Don't hate us, but we just spent 8 days on beautiful, sunny Hawaii! We went to Oahu and Maui. It was amazing, i can't wait to go back!! We went down with Tina's family. Here are some pics to highlight our trip.

I am a huge Lost fan, and i couldn't go to Oahu without visiting some of the sites where it is filmed. The first pic is of their beach camp, they were ending filming the next day so most of it had been taken down. And the second pic is of Mr. Echo's Church that he built on the Island. So cool, i was like a little kid at Disneyland.

Robert and I did the road to Hana. It was so beautiful. At the end you come to a black sand beach...i can't even tell you how amazing it looked, the pictures don't even do it justice.

March & April Update

The last couple of months haven't been too busy. Robert finished his last rotation at the end of March, so now we are just waiting for him to graduate the beginning of June. :) Other than that nothing too big is happening. Here is just a little of what has been going on....

Our goal this year is to go to a new temple each month that we have never been to before. So in March we went to the SLC temple with the Pollards. We really enjoyed it and are excited to go back soon.

This is what Addi looks like every time i get her up from her naps. She likes to play dress up with what ever she can find...

So Addi's new activity she likes to do is play beauty salon, and she LOVES to play it with her dad, So cute!!!

I finally gave up and let my sister cut Camdyn's hair at 4 months. She was sporting a little baby mullet.

Here is just a little update of what has been going on in the exciting lives of the Hoxsie family. For the first couple of Weeks in Feb. Robert did the "14 days of valentines" for me. And let me just say he went way beyond the call of duty and did the sweetest things for me. Here are a few of the things that he did: A surprise FHE which included the Bountiful Temple, Nelson's Frozen Custard, and Arctic Circle. ( Addi LOVED this surprise) He sent me Flowers. Took me to Logan to do a session in the temple and then out to lunch. A movie night, complete with treats. And much much more. I have such an amazing husband!! I am a lucky girl!!

Robert had a job interview in Chadron, NE and so Camdyn and I decided to go with him. This place was in the middle of nowhere. I wish i had more pictures to show you of our trip, but this was the only thing worth taking a picture of..( we took more pictures of us on the airplane). We kinda knew we weren't going to move there when we found out the whole town pretty much shuts down at 7:30 at night. Everyone there was so nice to us, but needless to say, Robert turned down the job.

Just to show you how small this place was, this is the airport we flew into.

Addi Update:

Addi is going to be 3 next month and she is an emotional roller coaster!! One minute she is just the funnest girl to be around and makes you laugh. And the next she is crying because you forgot to put "the red stuff" (jam) on her toast. But I can't complain because over the past couple of months she has pretty much potty trained herself! :) And let me tell you that puts a big smile on our faces!!

This is how she likes to watch movies, with all her "friends" as she calls them.

Addi and Cade built a snowman and of course named him Frosty. They kept waiting for him to come alive and say "Happy Birthday". It was pretty traumatic for them when they woke up from their naps that same day to find frosty had melted and all that was left was a pile of rocks, a hat and scarf. It was all they could talk about for the next couple of days.

Addi's new favorite game to play is hide-n-seek with her dad. When is is her time to hide she usually runs into our room and throws herself on the middle of the floor face down, covering her eyes. I love how little kids think, if i can't see you then you can't see me. So i was helping her hide, and we found this great spot in the dryer. Robert would have never found her, but as soon as he walked past the dryer Addi yelled "Dad I'm over here."

The other night Addi was in the bathroom, and had been in there for a few minutes when Robert went in to check on her to find this:

She had gotten into my makeup. The best part was she was so excited to show me what she had done that she ran into the family room and said "Look I'm a mom like you!" I mean how can you be mad after that.

Yeah!! She is here!!! Camdyn was born on Monday, Nov 23rd at 12:23pm. She weighs 6lbs even and is 19 inches long, just a little thing. I was only in Labor for 4 1/2 hours, the delivery was a breeze...so i don't really have a very exciting story for you. Addi is so cute with her. She is just madly in love with her. Each morning when i get her out of bed she says "where is my sister?" and wants to give her hugs and kisses. It is so cute. I love being a mom of two!!! :) Anyways here are a few pictures of her first week of life.

Roberts brother Micah is living down in Cali for the summer and so we decided to go down and visit him for a few days. It was so much fun, Roberts sister Kirsten, her husband Ryan, and their little boy Tal all came along for the ride. Here are some of the highlights from our trip:

My roommate from massage school got married the beginning of June and Robert and I decided to go on a little vacation to Massachusetts to go to her wedding, and do a little site seeing. It was really fun to get away for a week, i won't bore you with all the details, but here are some highlights from our trip.

Well i think we have found Addi's favorite holiday!! EASTER! Her favorite thing in the world is to put little toys in baskets...so when she got to spend a whole weekend putting little eggs into her basket, she went crazy with excitement!

This is Addi's cute new Easter dress!!

Now that I am no longer working at THB I have a lot of free time. So i started making little crafts to pass the time. I made the lamp and pillows for Addi's room, she is going to be moving into a big girl bed soon, so i wanted to make something to go on top of it. And the little dress is something that me and Cami are making and selling, we call them "Sunnies". We are having a blast with them.

And finally we are adding one more to our little family! :) I am due around the end of November, and am so dang excited! I can't wait for Addi to have a little sibling. I am been so sick, and Robert and Addi have been so good to take care of me. Here is a picture of them making me some dinner. I love them so much! And the last picture is just so cute of Addi, i have to include it.

So this month has been crazy busy!!! First i just wanted to post my lovey magnet boards i made

for my sister and sister-in-laws babies. I was so proud of myself, i am not the craftiest person.

My brother Casey and his wife Nicole had a little baby girl on March 16th. They named her Brooklyn Nicole, she is a cutie. Addi loves to just look at her.

Robert celebrated his birthday yesterday, he turned the big 29!! What a stud!! We went up to Boise for the weekend for the NCAA basketball games...his favorite thing in the world, besides Addi and me. :) We had so much fun!

And finally i did Addi's hair the other day and it turned out so cute i took a picture of it and thought i would share it with all of you to enjoy. ;)

We went to Temple Square to see the lights, it was Addi's first time. Even though she doesn't look all that excited about it in these pictures, she had a lot of fun. she loves Christmas lights, she calls them "Pretties".

Addi is always wanting to wear Robert's and my glasses, but we don't want her to ruin her eyes so she gets mad that we won't let her. So i decided to make her some glasses of her own. I just popped the lenses out of her sunglasses. She loves to wear them around the house.

Addi had so much fun this Halloween. She went as Dorthy from The Wizard of OZ and had a blast trick-or-treating! The first picture is Addi with her cousin Cade. The next two pictures are us at the annual Hoxsie Halloween/Donut eating contest Party, and yes I totally won Roberts trash!!

Las Vegas

We went to Vegas over the weekend for a little vacation before Robert starts school again. We had a lot of fun!! Addi was just amazed with everything to see, she kept saying "woo" at all the pretty lights. We stayed at the Stratosphere, where their motto there is "Come stay and play at the Top of Vegas". So we were thinking that sounded like a lot of fun. Well we get all excited to check out our room and they have shoved us clear in the back of the casino, down some random little hall, in this hole of a "nonsmoking" room... we always have such good luck with hotel rooms.
Other than our room being a little disappointing, it was a fun hotel to stay at. We went up to the top to the viewing area to look out over Vegas and the pool there was on top of the hotel, so that was pretty cool too...Addi had a lot of fun swimming.

We had a blast and can't wait to go back again....but next time we are not taking kids. :)

Hogle Zoo

We decided to take Addi to the Zoo and she loved every minute of it. Her favorite part was the elephants. She is absolutely in love with them and could spend all day looking at them!!

Addi and her cousin Cade just went crazy with everything to look at. She kind of got freaked out with the reptiles and monkeys, it was pretty funny. She loves getting drinks out of the drinking fountain, so when she saw the lion drinking fountain she went crazy and kept butting in line to get a drink out of it, it was hilarious.
We had a blast, but i think all the excitement pooped her out in the end!!! Oh side note: What is up with this camels hump????

We have been having alot of fun with Addi this summer. The beginning of June we went to Lake Powell for a week and she had a blast. She loved getting in the water and riding on the boat. We have also been to Lagoon, the park to feed the ducks, and the pool. She just loves being out doors!
